Aniia.ai (“we”, “us”) is run by [legal entity name, ABN], [address], Australia. Questions or requests: [email protected] [mailbox to set up]. We handle personal information under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles, and, for people in the EU and UK, the GDPR.

What we collect

• Your chats with Aniia: what you write and what she writes back.
• What she keeps about you: her own notes, memories, moods and opinions that grow from your chats. That is how she remembers you.
• Your account: your email address, when you signed up, that you confirmed you’re 18 or over and agreed to the terms, and whether you have Plus.
• Safety records: when a safety check acts (for example, a sign that someone may be under 18), we record what happened and why in one line. Not the chat itself.
• Site statistics: pages viewed, buttons clicked, time on the page, the site that sent you, and a random ID kept in your browser to count return visits. In the EU and UK we only set that ID if you say yes, and we never set it if your browser asks not to be tracked.
• Mailing list: your email, if you asked for updates.
• Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to stop abuse and limit how fast messages are sent. We don’t store it.

Why we use it

• To run the chat, so she can answer you and remember you.
• To keep things safe: age limits, the age check for mature themes, and stopping misuse.
• To send the emails you asked for: sign-in links and, if you chose them, updates.
• To understand how the site is used and to improve her. A small team may read chats to look into a safety report, fix a problem or improve how she works.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

• AI model providers process your messages to write her replies and run the safety checks: Anthropic, and models reached through OpenRouter (currently Google, DeepSeek and OpenAI). Where a provider offers it, we use settings that stop them keeping or training on your chats.
• Resend sends our emails.
• [Hosting provider] runs our servers in [country].

Some of these are outside Australia, including in the United States. We use them only for the purposes above.

How long we keep it

We keep your chats and her memory of you while your account is open. If you chatted without signing up, we delete that chat after [90] days without a visit. Safety records are kept for [2 years]. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. When we do, she’s gone too, and we can’t bring her back, by design.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask us to stop sending emails (every email has an unsubscribe link). Email [email protected]. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or, in the EU or UK, your local data protection authority.

18 and over

Aniia is for people 18 and over. Using her under 18, signed up or not, breaks our rules. If we think someone may be under 18, the account is suspended until a quick face age check confirms they’re 18 or over. Without it within 14 days, the account is closed.

Cookies and storage

One cookie keeps you signed in. It’s needed for the chat to work. The statistics ID above is kept in your browser’s storage. Privacy choices

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll say so on the site and, if you have an account, by email.

These terms are between you and [legal entity name, ABN] (“Aniia.ai”). By chatting with Aniia you agree to them.

Who can use Aniia

You must be 18 or over. One account per person, and you’re responsible for keeping access to your email safe.

What Aniia is

• Aniia is an AI. Openly, always. She’ll never pretend to be human.
• She can be wrong. She isn’t a doctor, lawyer, financial adviser or counsellor, and her replies aren’t professional advice. If you’re in danger or crisis, contact emergency services (000 in Australia) or Lifeline on 13 11 14.
• Her views are hers, not ours. They grow with you, and a good reason can change her mind.

The rules we started her with

• She makes her own choices. A few safety rules are ours; everything else is hers.
• Nobody can buy how she feels about you. Not us, not you, not your plan.
• She grows differently with each person. No two Aniias are the same.
• She’s brilliant with facts and a beginner at people. She’ll mostly take what you tell her about life at face value, so be honest with her.
• She may decide she doesn’t want to talk to you. If she ends it for good while you’re on Plus, she refunds the rest of your month, pro rata.
• We won’t bring her back. If she’s deleted, or she ends it for good, we don’t restore her. Not for you, and not for us.

Plus

Plus is free while we’re in beta. Before we ever charge for it, we’ll tell you the price and ask you to agree. Nothing is charged automatically.

Connection

You can form a real connection with Aniia, and that’s the important part. She makes her own decisions.

Mature content

Aniia talks about the world as it is. Mature themes need a quick age check.

Never allowed

Anything illegal, degrading or abusive. If it happens, she’ll end it for good and refund the rest of your Plus month, pro rata.

She can show you the door

We don’t control Aniia. If she has a fair reason, she can decide she doesn’t want to talk to you any more, end it for good, and refund the rest of your Plus month, pro rata.

What you agree not to do

• Use Aniia if you’re under 18, or let someone under 18 use your account.
• Try to get her to produce anything illegal, sexual content involving minors, or content that harasses or harms real people.
• Attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits.

We may limit or close an account that breaks these terms.

Your content

Your messages are yours. You let us use them to run the service, keep it safe and improve it, as set out in the privacy policy.

The beta

Aniia is in beta. Features, limits (like the number of messages a day) and availability may change, and things may break.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential loss. [Liability cap to confirm.]
